What should you do if your back is tight or already in pain

If you are already concern of how your back feels or if there is pain present, we recommend you do seek professional help from your Chiropractor or at minum go see your MD.  If you are not able to seek professional help at the moment and your back is feeling tight, there are several things you can do at home to help relieve the discomfort if there has been no trauma to the area.  First, do some gentle stretching and massage the area to help loosen the muscles.  You can also try taking a warm bath using Epson Salts or using a heating pad on the area for added relief. Additionally, make sure you’re getting plenty of rest and drinking lots of water. If the discomfort persists, it’s best to consult with a Chiropractor to help diagnose the root cause of the problem and recommend the best treatment.  Don’t take pain pills to mask the pain and injure your back even more going back to work.  Get help from your Chiropractor before is too late and your only options become more expensive as the damage may increase and may require a surgery.  See your Chiropractor if you have questions and receive treatment on time.

Increasing Overall Health – see how below

  1. Natural Therapy – meaning we don’t use drugs to relief pain.  Everythings is mainly done by Chiropractic manipulations of the joints, removing subluxations.  We also focus on the conditions of our muscles and may work on stretching and/or strengthening.
  2. Restoring Movement and Reducing Pain.  Flexible joints are essential to our health and wellbeing. They enable us to move, twist and turn our bodies in any direction. They also allow us to engage in physical activities like running, jumping, dancing, and yoga. Flexible joints can help to reduce pain from arthritis and improve our range of motion. They can help to reduce stress and tension in the body, and can prevent injury from repetitive motion.
  3. By restoring your joint mobility and removing obstractions in the spine will return to a normal more neutral position and improve the flow of the cerebrospinal fluid.  Improving the flow of the fluid can help reduce the pressure on the spinal cord.
  4. Once the cerebrospinal fluid flow is optimized this helps carry toxins away and removes pressure on the spinal cord helps to maintain the fuction of your Central Nervous System in general.
  5. So, if you restore or improve the function of your Central Nervous System you will improve your overall health.
  6. The Central Nervous System controls everything in the human body, directly and indirectly.
